RADS info for expert users

The information on this page is intended for expert users of the RADS database.

The RADS manual contains detailed instructions for mirroring the RADS data and tools to a local machine. This is an alternative, more powerful approach to acquiring RADS data, compared to the use of the web interface.

The RADS mailing list is used to discuss the expert use of RADS data and to communicate updates made to the data, access methods and software tools.

If you have studied the RADS manual, and had a look at the mailing list archive, and you would then like to be able to use RADS in this way yourself, you are requested to contact Remko Scharroo at remko@altimetrics.com. He will be able to provide the required username and password. Note that these are not the same username and password that are used to access the web interface.
